Spirulina Granola
A cool fact about Spirulina…It has the highest protein level of all green superfoods and also has naturally occurring omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids or healthy fats, including DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and GLA (gamma linolenic acid)—both of which are also found in breast milk.

- Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the oats, almonds, coconut, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, spirulina, and salt. Add the honey and almond oil and mix well breaking up any clumps with a clean pair of hands.
- Divide the granola mixture onto two baking sheets and spread evenly. Bake for 20-24 minutes until lightly golden, stirring halfway and alternating the pans for even baking. Let the granola cool completely before storing in an airtight container(s) for 1-2 weeks.
