Adaptogenic Hot Chocolate

Adaptogens are roots, herbs, and mushrooms that can help us adapt more readily to temporary everyday stress and promote relaxation*. In this recipe, we use two adaptogens: ashwagandha and reishi mushroom for a stress-reducing calming effect while also supporting a healthy immune system*.

Adaptogenic Hot Chocolate

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over low-to-medium heat, add all of the ingredients except for the 70% dark chocolate.
  2. While the hot chocolate is heating, use a handheld milk frother or immersion blender to carefully mix the ingredients together until fully combined and foaming.
  3. Pour the hot chocolate into a special mug. Using a microplane, shave some dark chocolate on top (optional) and drink warm.
